After Work Hike: Meadowlark Open Space

Details
With the coming of fall, brilliant colors are arriving at the lovely proposed Meadowlark - Jumping Mouse Open Space.
Join us on a beautiful 1.5 hour nature hike at the proposed 308 acre wild lands preserve at CU South.
Home to meadowlarks, golden eagles and feeding grounds for elk and bear this is a guided hike not to miss! This gem of an open space in front of Eldorado Canyon runs between Table Mesa and Broadway/Highway 93 is a secret local's favorite destination. The federally endangered Preble's Jumping Mouse also lives here and next door at the South Boulder Creek State Natural Area.
We will meet at 5:30 pm at the Meadowlark West Trail Head in the small parking lot across from the house at 834 Marshall Road. Questions or if you get lost txt or call Ken at 720 436 2465. Feel free to bring friends and family. Be sure you are at the trailhead where the road ends immediately north of the parking area.

Many people have asked us which Candidates running for Boulder City Council Support Open Space? Endorsed by Together For Boulder for their support of the Community, Neighborhoods and and Environment we are excited about these 5 candidates winning election:
Susan Peterson
Adam Swetlik
Corina Jucia
Mark Wallach
Brian Dolan
In comparison - Candidate Bob Yates voted to strip the CU South habitat area of its open space other designation to advance development efforts and did not support the creation of the Twin Lakes Owl Preserve.
