What we're about

It's a crazy world out there full of both challenges and opportunities, and a few of us are creating this new Meetup group in the hope of our expanding our circle of friends by hosting what we hope will be regular gatherings of diverse groups of people interested in meeting up for deeper and more meaningful conversations about spiritual topics.

Beyond just conversations, our hope is that through gaining new insights we can all better learn how the spiritual can (and should) carry over into our daily lives, so that spirituality isn't just about us as individuals, but also about positively impacting those around us in our communities and the world.

All are welcome regardless of background or belief. No donations will be accepted.

The Soul & The Scientific Method

Beacon Hill Library

Has spirituality been given a bad rap? What are we losing when we lack a practical approach to organizing our inner lives? Rather than seeing spirituality and science as entirely separate realms, are there lessons from each that could be applied to one another? Are there scientific principles that could be applied to our spiritual explorations? Does the soul grow? Where do scientific ethics come from, and how do we agree on them? Join a different kind of conversation — one that welcomes every perspective in a search for the truths that unite us. Please join us for a lively discussion on the spiritual perspective offered by the Bahá'i teachings on finding spiritual truth in our physical surroundings. "Religion and Science are inter-twined with each other and cannot be separated. These are the two wings with which humanity must fly. One wing is not enough. " – Bahá’i Teachings *** This event is free and open to all regardless of background or belief. Donations will not be accepted.
