Open-Mic Veggie Drinks Night

The host performers are very good and you never know who else will show up to play at open mic night. Some of the musicians are truly amazing!

There is a full bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

There will be a choice of vegan appetizers brought in by your host from Planet Veg. Please indicate in your RSVP if you want them:

N.B. The Billy Bishop is a non-profit organization. In addition to helping veterans, part of its mandate is to offer flexible and affordable creative space to the community. Non-members are always welcome.

LOCATION: The legion is tucked in the Kits Point neighbourhood at 1407 Laburnum St, Vancouver, BC V6J 3W4. It is not easy to spot, but actually very easy to get to as it is just off Cornwall. When facing the mountains, the legion will be on your left, set back from the street a bit.

PARKING:
Although there are some spots on the street in front of the legion, it is easiest to park on Cornwall. Parking is also free there. Everyone should be able to get a free spot but it might take some driving around a bit.

BUS: The bus stops very close by on Cornwall and it's only one bus to get to Granville Skytrain station and an 18 minute ride. (Bus #2 & #22.)

TIMING: Please aim to arrive between 7:30 and 7:40 in order to get a seat WITH the group. Mingling is encouraged, but it's not really a standing around kind of event since there are performers so come on time and get a seat.

FOOD: Some of you ordered food. The food has nothing to do with the venue. I, a volunteer with no cash or credit card machine, am bringing it in. So, you need to pay me exact change in CASH or round it off to the nearest dollar.
