We've planned another dinner at Po Kong Vegetarian Restaurant, this time with a very different menu from our last event there.
Each person will get some of each of these dishes:
- Sweet and Sour Pineapple Delight
- Chili Eggplant with Chu-Hau Sauce
- Tasty Fresh Shitake Mushrooms
- Spicy Green Beans
- Fresh Ginger on Steamed Beancurd Skin Sheet
- Sizzling Vegetarian Steak with Black Pepper Sauce (with veggies, see photo)
- Chili and Pepper Deep-fried Veggie Chicken Nuggets
- Pan-fried Colourful Gluten Balls with Assorted Vegetables
- Brown rice
COST: $17 CASH ONLY CASH ONLY CASH ONLY per diner, includes tax. Pay the host at your table.
There is so much food that if one dish doesn't appeal, you can skip it and you'll still leave full.
N.B. Please note, to maintain our positive relationship with the restaurant, those canceling with less than 24 hours notice will be expected to pay the cost of their meal.
Those not answering the RSVP question will be automatically removed. If this happens to you, fear not, you are welcome to reregister.
We'll be seated at large round tables. When you arrive, show your vaccine passport and ID, check with the host where to sit, and pay the cash collector at your table.
Busses stop nearby and there's plenty of free parking, but it can take a while to find, so give yourself plenty of time to ensure you get there on time.
