This Meetup is for anyone looking to reduce stress, become more positive, and learn how to bring peace into daily life. The meetings are perfect for anyone new to meditation and Buddhism as well as those with some experience already. Join us for an introduction to meditation, mindfulness, and Buddhist teachings for modern daily life. Everyone is welcome!

Our main meeting location is in Downtown Dallas. We're a hidden gem in the city, just opposite the Dallas World Aquarium. It's like an urban oasis.

Or have you started meditating, but haven't been able to get a regular practice going? Meditation for Beginners covers the fundamentals of meditation from the Buddhist point of view. Each class includes short guided meditations and covers key Buddhist principles to help you break through any barriers to starting and maintaining a practice of meditation. UPCOMING TOPICS June 1 - What is Meditation and its Benefits June 8 - How to Begin June 15 - Two Types of Meditation No class on June 22 or June 29. Each class is self contained so you can jump into the series at any point in time. This class will be repeated each month!
