About the panelists:
Samantha Li is the Founder and lead organizer of the Brooklyn Product Design Meetup group. She founded the group three years ago because she wanted to provide a platform to amplify the local voices of Brooklyn's UX and Product Design community to connect with each other through curiosity and shared learning via speaker talks, social gatherings, and hackathon events in an interactive safe space. She loves working for Capital One as a Design Manager and Strategist to make an impact on simplifying the lives of our customers in their day-to-day processes. When she is not busy trying to pick out a spiffy Zoom background, she’s likely chillin on her hammock chair with some ice cream on her beloved balcony and watering her plant babies 🌱.

Brian Hui helps co-organize the Brooklyn Product Design Meetup group. He is currently transitioning out of his role as Co-Founder and Product Designer at his startup, Unseen Media, where he helped design and develop an Augmented Reality-enabled tabletop mystery game. He's helped lead Unseen through a startup boot camp and residency program hosted by RLab in NYC, the nation’s first city-funded center for research, entrepreneurship, and education in virtual and augmented reality and related technologies. Brian loves community work and bringing people together under the common purposes of personal and community growth. He's also involved with organizing MIT Reality Hack, one of the world's largest Augmented and Virtual Reality hackathons that cater to students and working professionals. In his free time, Brian loves keeping up with developments in the tech world, the occasional outdoor getaway, and trying his very best to have an enjoyable 2020!
