Come join us for food and drinks as the Metis team walks you through a sampling of what students learn during their 12 weeks of project-based data science work. You'll also hear from alumni about how to prepare, what to expect, and what happens after you attend the Metis Data Science Bootcamp.

About our Guest Alumni
Alexandra is a data scientist passionate about using data for social good.
With a background in graphic design and psychology, her passion is solving challenging problems with data science and effectively communicating approaches and solutions through refined visualizations.
She's interested in working with an intelligent team to tackle issues that severely impact people's lives. In particular, she wants to be part of a team that can offer her mentorship and foster her learning and growth as a data scientist.
Python is her main language, where she has experience working with Classification, NLP, Deep Learning (Keras), and deploying models with a Flask front-end.
Bryan is a data scientist and analyst with a background in biology who is passionate about applying analytical techniques to solve problems for various types of organizations. He has experience with machine learning, data mining, big data, data visualization and natural language processing.
He previously worked in a Data and Research capacity with organizations like Stanford's Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and the Marine Mammal Center in Sausalito. He's proficient in Python, SQL and NoSQL, along with other tools.
