Our Wednesday evening get-togethers are like a gathering of friends getting together after work for a burger and a beer. I know walking into a bunch of strangers can be daunting but you'll find us very informal, friendly and very welcoming to folks who just want to visit, as well as those who may want to consider becoming a part of our group.
Enjoy the company of like-minded folks at a weekly social meeting for atheists (Usually around 20 to 40 of us: some don't RSVP). Some of us arrive before 6. Some arrive after 8. We're usually getting kicked out when they close at the end of the night, or we move over to the bar to continue hanging out. So don't worry about being "late." Meet up at J. Gilligan's Restaurant (not in the bar side) in Arlington. From IH-30 take Collins (Hwy 157) South to Abram. Right on Abram a few blocks and park in J. Gilligan's parking lot on the left. See you there! Look for the lowest section on the south end of the restaurant, or ask a waitress where we are. There's a menu if you get the munchies or you can be like me and just go for the beer and free chips & salsa before 7:00 pm. (only the free chips end at 7, we're there LONG after that) It is a family-friendly atmosphere (It's an Irish Bar!)
Please join us for the first ever Metroplex Atheist's social event for women only, to be held at the La Madeleine Café in Arlington. Come meet new like minded women and enjoy an evening of casual conversation over food and drink. See you there!!!
