Metroplex Atheists is the longest standing secular organization in North Texas, beginning as a chapter of American Atheists in the late 1980’s. Our primary mission is to promote and fight for the separation of church and state. We stand for expanding positive secular values, human equality, individual democratic freedoms, and inclusive community for all members.

July 4th Parade (Ride on our Float with us!)

Can you still buy a shirt if you missed the deadline?

Missing the deadline doesn't mean you have to miss out on our newest shirt, which dropped this past weekend on our Merch Shop.
Price after deadline is $25 and any purchases made after June 28th will not be available for pick-up/delivery until AFTER July 4th.
Sizes XS-6X available.Are you required to purchase a shirt to ride through the parade?
There is no purchase requirement, but we'd like to have a cohesive look for the group and we hope you (for those who have it) can wear last year's shirt: #AtheistsDefendDemocracy.How can you ride on our float for the parade?
Arrive to the Parade Staging Area (found in the map attached) no later than 8am wearing primarily red, white, and blue; a bit of PRIDE never hurts! 🏳️🌈

You should be heading home no later than noon, but we are usually figuring out somewhere for lunch by 11:15amHow can you help prepare? Glad you asked, we need it!
Volunteers will be needed for decorating on Friday in Irving, starting at 9am.
