StapletonWalks hosts a monthly walk around The Shops of Northfield. After the walk we will stop at Brothers for dinner. Note: Tuesday night is $2.00 Cheeseburger night. The walk is free and everyone is invited. We really hope you will join us. It will be a great opportunity to get some exercise and connect with new people. The Shops at Northfield are located in the Stapleton neighborhood north of I-70.

This is an approximately 2.0 mile walk on paved sidewalks. The walk is very wheelchair friendly. We walk at a constant but conversational pace. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at [masked].

Parking & Meeting Spot: We will meet in front of the Community HUB at Nortfield Stapleton. The HUB is located in the Shops at Northfield next to the Cowboy Saloon on Main Street. Park in the parking lots behind Cowboy Saloon and the HUB off Uinta Street. We start walking no later than 5:30 p.m.

Welcome Waiver: If you have not completed a Welcome Waiver this year for this walk, please fill out the online Welcome Waiver (click here) or download, print, sign, and bring the waiver with you to the walk. You only need to complete one Welcome Waiver per year for this walk.

Dogs: Sorry, no dogs are allowed on this walk.

Restroom: There are plenty of restrooms on the route.

Dress: Wear comfortable walking shoes with non-cotton socks and dress appropriately for the weather. Try to dress in layers so as to be prepared for any anticipated/unanticipated changes in temperature. Of course, during the warm weather months, sunglasses, sun screen, and a sun hat are a given.

Water: Please bring a bottle of water. Denver is a high plains desert (high altitude, low humidity) so staying hydrated is priority one.

Please RSVP so we can notify you in the event the walk is cancelled. Also, we need to alert Brothers of our number.
