The goal of implementing agile practices for any organization is to achieve business agility to deliver value faster to the customer through continuous delivery, increase productivity, produce quality products and services, and increase employee engagement. Join in to learn how to apply a set of simple lean, agile and DevOps practices and concepts to evolve your current product and service delivery process, and quality practices. About the Speaker: Diana E. Rivera • Diana is an Enterprise Agile Coach at FIS Global Solutions with a SAFe Program Consultant certification through Scaled Agile, Inc., and a Master’s in Business Administration from Concordia University. Diana began her career as a Software Engineer 20 years ago and has performed several software project management and continuous improvement lead roles within the Financial and Banking Industry. One of Diana’s passions is to enable Agile Release Trains and Agile Teams to adopt a DevSecOps mindset and culture, apply a set of technical practices to improve the communication, integration, automation and close cooperation among all the people that are needed to plan, develop, test, deploy, release and maintain a solution. • Some of Diana’s key accomplishments include: o Facilitated group training for over 2,500 IT professionals and leadership on the SAFe Framework role-specific courses - Agile Basics, Scrum and Extreme Programming practices. o Coached the launching of 20 Agile Release Trains and 20 Release Train Engineers on executing Program Increment events. o Assisted the Agile Transformation Director with Scrum Master interviews and discussed final decisions with Human Resource recruiters in hiring IT talent. o Analyzed and improved IT processes across the Banking Solutions organization to eliminate waste and create efficiencies using lean and agile practices. o Established agile training for IT roles and created communication strategies to transition from traditional waterfall practices to Agile/Scrum practices enterprise wide. o Obtained certifications in the following: Certified Scrum Master through Scrum Alliance.org, SAFe Agilist (Leading SAFe), SAFe Release Train Engineer, and SAFe DevOps Practitioner. **This meetup is Virtual.
