Two-page Workshop

Have you ever wished you could watch someone experience your writing for the first time? Want to see what hooks your readers? What makes them laugh? Or makes them shake their head in confusion?

We will be conducting a 2-Page workshop from a concept created by Sherwood Smith ( http://sherwoodsmith.net ). Participating writers will get the chance to watch as 2 pages of your story is read out loud anonymously and see realtime reactions. The story will be briefly discussed before the next is read. Once all the stories have been read the authors can choose to identify themselves.

To participate you need to bring a typed printout of the first two pages of a story. They can be from a completed story or a work in progress. You should also be prepared to accept feedback on your work, and listen to and discuss the other stories.

You are welcome to participate without bringing material to be read, but the best part of the workshop is seeing honest reactions to your work.

Please RSVP with whether or not you will be bringing 2-pages so we can get a good estimate of how much time to allot to the discussion. Thanks!
