This 8-week program is for people who may feel stuck in life and have little or no experience with mindfulness meditation and who want further guidance and support to get started. Mindfulness meditation is the practice of focusing attention on the present moment and involves awareness of the body and breathing allowing for relaxation. During the 8 weeks, components of mindfulness will be taught using engaging techniques directed at building bravery. Guided meditation will take place for a few minutes each session and increase over time.
