We will watching movies and then going somewhere to eat after for a discussion. I believe its always better to see movie with other people even if you dont agree on quality.

The types of movie that we will watch will vary. Some will be very commercial, others will be independent, and occasionally we may watch some clssic films as well.

At the discussions, we will determine...

Mostly the group will be focused on the discussion. Along the way, I hope that people will discover some new friends to watch movies with.

The End of Oak Street will be the movie we will be seeing on Aug 16

There is a Cosmic Event that transports the homes on Oak Street to a planet with Dinosaurs... and unfortunately, these dinosaurs are not the friendly kind. So the question is... Who survives and what do they learn about themselves along the way?

The film was done in IMAX and we will watch it IMAX.

And yes that is Anne Hathaway taking on these dinosaurs.... here is the trailer.

The last spooky cinema event at Pollack was so great that we are going to see Basket Case on August 20th.

I haven't seen this one, but I've heard that is part of the vaunted "Class of 1981" for horror films, and holds its own for the time (ie- low budget - only $35K to make it, gritty/seedy New York City backdrop, swift and blinding violence)

Four females friends get together for a spa weekend where there will be fun, trouble and fun trouble... or in their words "laughter and bad decision making". What could possibly go wrong?
