What we’re about
The Myanmar Entrepreneurs Network (MMEN) is a platform to connect local entrepreneurs and investors through a series of networking sessions and themed events. Through these entrepreneurs-focused events, MMEN aims to support entrepreneurs of all levels in their quests to advance in their journey. MMEN is a is a non-profit, non-governmental network who also has chapters in Singapore (SEN) and Malaysia (MEN) to facilitate members' expansion into the international market.
<br>MMEN's events are generally separated into two types.
<br>1. Monthly Networking Meetup <br>Day: The first Monday of every month (Once a month) <br>Time: 6.30pm - 9pm <br>Venue: Ya Kun at FMI Center Parkson <br>Fee: Free <br>Details: This is an open networking session where entrepreneurs from every industries are welcome to attend. With no agenda or speaker, attendees are free to network with fellow entrepreneurs to share ideas on doing business in Myanmar, learn from each other on key areas such as HR, financing, law or even form business partnership. To date, this is the largest cross-industry, Burmese-focused open networking sessions held in Yangon with more than 350 attendees at each meetup.
2. Ad-Hoc Themed Events <br>Day: Ad Hoc (but usually once a month) <br>Details: MMEN also organizes smaller events which focuses on topics relevant to entrepreneurs. These workshops usually address common problems faced by entrepreneurs or provide networking opportunities for specific industry. In June, MMEN organized 2 workshops educating entrepreneurs on corporate law and human resources management. Interested entrepreneurs can keep track of these events through MMEN Facebook group or meetup.com group.
RULE #1 The MMEN meetup welcomes any aspiring (meaning still employed, unemployed or studying) OR existing entrepreneurs that are not in the business of Multi-Level Marketing
RULE #2 There is NO CHARGE from the MMEN for you to attend the event. However, I do ask that you i.) do not bring in your own food and drinks to the cafe venue and ii.) buy at least a drink from the cafe. With no cost in attending, the least that you can do is to give some business to the cafe that has kindly given us space to gather.
Please note that this is not a platform for Multi-Level-Marketeers or companies/individuals wishing to give talks or to sell to MMEN members either during the event, via notices or private unsolicited messages via meetup.com; all such violations will be emailed to abuse@meetup.com for their actions. If you are joining MMEN with that intention, I do kindly ask that you bring that intention elsewhere; There are various other Singapore meetup groups that will welcome you and your intentions, but not MMEN.

ျမန္မာစြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူမ်ားကြန္ယက္ လို႔အဓိပၸါယ္ရတဲ့ MMEN ဆုိတာကေတာ့ ျပည္တြင္းက စြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူေတြနဲ႔ ရင္းႏွီးျမဳပ္ႏွံသူေတြကို ေတြ႕ဆံုေဆြးေႏြးပြဲေတြ၊ ေဟာေျပာပြဲေတြ၊ အလုပ္ရံုေဆြးေႏြးပြဲေတြကေနတဆင့္ ဆံုဆည္းမိေအာင္ ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ေပးေနတဲ့ ပလက္ေဖာင္းတစ္ခုပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ MMEN ဟာ စြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူေတြအေနနဲ႔ သူတို႔ရဲ႕ရည္မွန္းခ်က္ ေတြဆီသြားရာ ခရီးလမ္းကိုသြားရင္း လိုအပ္လာတဲ့ အသိပညာေတြ၊ေထာက္ပံ့မႈေတြကို ရွာေဖြတဲ့ေနရာမွာ ပံ့ပိုးေပးႏုိင္ဖို႔ ရည္ရြယ္ျပီး အဲဒီလို စြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူေတြကို အဓိကထားတဲ့ ေတြ႕ဆံုေဆြးေႏြးပြဲေတြ၊ ေဟာေျပာပြဲေတြကို စီစဥ္က်င္းပ ေနတာပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ MMEN ဟာ အက်ိဳးအျမတ္ရွာေဖြျခင္းမျပဳတဲ့ အစိုးရမဟုတ္တဲ့ ကြန္ယက္အဖဲြ႕အစည္းတစ္ခု ျဖစ္ျပီး အဖြဲ႕၀င္ေတြ ႏိုင္ငံတကာေစ်းကြက္အထိျဖန္႔က်က္ႏုိင္ေစဖို႔အတြက္ စကၤာပူ(SEN) နဲ႔ မေလးရွား(MEN) တို႔မွာလည္း အဖြဲ႕ခြြဲေတြရွိတဲ့ အဖြဲ႕အစည္းပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
MMEN ဟာပံုမွန္အားျဖင့္ ပြဲေတြကို ပံုစံႏွစ္မ်ိဳးနဲ႔ က်င္းပေလ့ရွိပါတယ္။
၁။ လစဥ္ကြန္ယက္ခ်ိတ္ဆက္ေတြ႕ဆံုပြဲ

လစဥ္က်င္းပတဲ့ဒီေတြ႕ဆံုပြဲေတြကေတာ့ နယ္ပယ္အသီးသီးက စြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူေတြတက္ေရာက္ေတြ႕ဆံုႏုိင္တဲ့ ပြဲပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ပြဲအစီအစဥ္နဲ႔ ဦးေဆာင္ေဟာေျပာသူေတြမပါ၀င္ပဲ ပြဲကိုတက္ေရာက္လာသူေတြဟာ တစ္ဦးနဲ႔ တစ္ဦး လြတ္လြတ္လပ္လပ္ေတြ႕ဆံုကာ စီးပြားေရးလုပ္ငန္းအိုင္ဒီယာေတြကို လြတ္လြတ္လပ္လပ္ဖလွယ္ႏုိင္ၾကပါတယ္။ ဒါ့အျပင္ စီးပြားေရးလုပ္ငန္းေတြအတြက္ အဓိကက်တဲ့က႑ေတြျဖစ္တဲ့ HR၊ ဘ႑ာေရး နဲ႔ ဥပေဒ တို႔နဲ႔ပတ္သက္ျပီး တစ္ေယာက္နဲ႔ တစ္ေယာက္အျပန္အလွန္ေလ့လာသင္ယူႏုိင္သလို စီးပြားေရးအရပူးေပါင္းေဆာင္ရြက္မႈမ်ိဳးေတြေတာင္ ေပၚေပါက္လာေစႏုိင္တဲ့ ပြဲေတြပဲ ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။
၂။ အထူးအေၾကာင္းအရာတစ္ရပ္အတြက္က်င္းပေသာပြဲ

MMEN ဟာ စြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူေတြနဲ႔သက္ဆိုင္တဲ့ အေၾကာင္းအရာေခါင္းစဥ္ေတြအေပၚမွာ အဓိကအာရံုစုိက္လုပ္ေဆာင္တဲ့ ပြဲခပ္ငယ္ငယ္ေတြကိုလည္း ဦးေဆာင္က်င္းပေလ့ရွိပါတယ္။ အဲဒီ အလုပ္ရံုေဆြးေႏြးပြဲေတြမွာဆုိရင္ စြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူေတြ ရင္ဆုိင္ရေလ့ရွိတဲ့ျပႆနာေတြအတြက္ အေျဖရွာတာမ်ိဳး၊ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ နယ္ပယ္အလိုက္ စြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူေတြအတြက္ အဆက္အသြယ္အေထာက္အပံ့ေတြပံ့ပိုးေပးတာမ်ိဳးေတြကို လုပ္ေဆာင္ေလ့ရွိပါတယ္။ ဇြန္လအတြင္းမွာ MMEN ဟာ စြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူေတြကို ေကာ္ပိုရိတ္ဥပေဒ နဲ႔ လူ႔စြမ္းအားအရင္းအျမစ္စီမံခန္႔ခြဲမႈ နဲ႔ပတ္သက္လို႔ ပညာေပးေဆြးေႏြးတဲ့ အလုပ္ရံုေဆြးေႏြးပြဲ ႏွစ္ခုကို က်င္းပခဲ့ပါတယ္။
လက္ရွိအခ်ိန္မွာ MMEN ဟာ ဓူ၀ံမီဒီယာနဲ႔လက္တြဲျပီးေတာ့လည္း စြန္႔ဦးတီထြင္သူေတြ၊ လုပ္ငန္းရွင္ေတြအတြက္ အက်ိဳးရွိမယ့္ ေဟာေျပာပြဲေတြ၊ ေတြ႕ဆံုေဆြးေႏြးပြဲေတြကို စီစဥ္က်င္းပလွ်က္ရွိပါတယ္။

MMEN မွ တက္ၾကြၿပီး တစ္ႏိုင္တစ္ပိုင္ စီးပြားေရး စတင္ရန္ ၾကံရြယ္သည့္ မည္သူမဆို (၀န္ထမ္း၊ အလုပ္ ေခတၲရပ္နားထားသူ၊ သို႔မဟုတ္ ပညာသင္ၾကားေနသူ) သို႔မဟုတ္ လက္ရွိ ကိုယ္ပိုင္လုပ္ငန္း လုပ္ကိုင္လ်က္ရွိသူမ်ား MMEN၏ လစဥ္ ဆံုေတြ႕ပြဲမ်ားသို႔ ဖိတ္ေခၚလိုပါသည္။

စည္းကမ္းခ်က္ ၂
MMEN လစဥ္ ဆံုေတြ႕ပြဲမ်ား တက္ေရာက္ရန္ အခေၾကးေငြ ေပးသြင္းရန္ မလိုပါ။ သို႕ေသာ္ အၿပင္ အစားအေသာက္မ်ားကို မယူလာဘဲ ဆံုေတြ႕ပြဲ ၿပဳလုပ္ရန္ ေနရာေပးေသာ ေကာ္ဖီဆိုင္ကို အားေပးသည့္ အေနၿဖင့္ ေကာ္ဖီဆိုင္မွ ၀ယ္ယူ သံုးေဆာင္ႏိုင္ပါသည္။
MLM လုပ္ကိုင္သူမ်ားႏွင့္ မိမိ ပစၥည္း ၀န္ေဆာင္မႈမ်ား ေၾကၿငာ ေရာင္းခ်ၿခင္းမ်ားကို MMEN ဆံုေတြ႕ပြဲမ်ားတြင္ သို႔မဟုတ္ Private Message မ်ားမွ တစ္ဆင့္ ေၾကၿငာ ေရာင္းခ်ၿခင္းမ်ားကို MMEN မွ တားၿမစ္ထားပါသည္။ တားၿမစ္ခ်က္မ်ားကို မေလးစားဘဲ တစ္စံုတစ္ဦးမွ ခ်ိဳးေဖာက္ပါက abuse@meetup.com သို႕ ဆက္သြယ္တိုင္ၾကားႏိုင္ပါသည္။
