Learn What Rebuilding Together Is Doing -- Monthly Meeting

Rebuilding Together enables volunteers to do modifications and make critical repairs for safer, healthier, more accessible, and more energy efficient homes for low-income families. They provide training,materials and tools, as well as preparing the worksite in advance of each project and handling the paperwork and insurance for the volunteers.

Dan Sargent, Rebuilding Together's executive director, will talk about some of their projects and also cover some energy-efficiency ideas you can do for your residence.

Dan Sargent has been Executive Director of Rebuilding Together since November 2008. Under his leadership, RTT’s budget has grown from $25,000 in 2008 to nearly $1,400,000 in 2017, and the affiliate will serve over 100 families this year. Dan has also led the effort to develop a comprehensive approach to home assessment and repair that prioritizes health, safety and resource efficiency for every home served by RTT. Dan has a Masters in Public Administration from UNC.

This is the group's monthly meeting, so there will be socializing and talking about other activities from 6:45 to 7:00.
