About us
Mosaic Outdoor Club of Northeast Ohio, founded 1998, is the Ohio chapter of a network of non-profit, volunteer groups dedicated to organizing outdoor, active, recreational, social and environmental events for Jewish adults. Mosaic serves Jews of all ages, both married and single, who share a love for nature and the outdoors. Based in Cleveland, we have events throughout the Northeast Ohio area, including hiking, bicycling, canoeing, skiing, skating, camping, rock climbing, horseback riding, dinners and much, much more!!!
Mosaic Outdoor Club of Northeast Ohio membership is $25 per year. Non-members are welcome at most events, however we do charge a $5 non-member fee. You can pay any board member at your first event or contact us if you choose to send a membership check. The money paid to these fees help to offset the expenses the club incurs. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the money for this meet-up membership and any snacks or beverages the club may supply at get-togethers.

WHEN: Sunday, March 8, 2026 at 10:30 a.m.
WHAT: Please join us for our annual Pancake Breakfast event. However, this year, we will be patronizing a new location… Chardon VFW Post 6519 and there will be a hike afterwards.
The made to order Pancake Breakfast will cost $9-$12 depending upon what you order. It features three flavors of pancakes (plain, blueberry or apple), French toast, eggs made to order, home fries, toast, orange juice, coffee and milk.
WHERE: Chardon VFW Post 6519 located at 752 Water Street in Chardon, Ohio (440) 285-369 . From the intersection of I-271 and Wilson Mills road, take Wilson Mills East to Chagrin River road. Turn right onto Chagrin River road. Then turn left onto Brigham road. Brigham road will turn into Wilson Mills again as you cross the county line. Turn left in about 9.5 miles (9.5 after you turn onto Brigham.... This includes both the Brigham and Wilson Mills segments) onto Auburn road (1.8 miles). Turn right onto Route 6. The VFW should be on the left in about a half mile.
Walter C. Best Wildlife Preserve is located at 11620 Ravenna Road. To get there from the brunch location, turn left toward Chardon Rd/US-6. Turn left onto Chardon Rd (US-6). Turn right onto South St (OH-44). Turn right into the Preserve. We will meet at the parking lot near the Sunset Shelter.

COST: The brunch is on you. It will cost $9-$12 for food and beverages. Plus, Non-Mosaic members will be charged the $5.00 non-member fee.
