About us
Mosaic Outdoor Club of Northeast Ohio, founded 1998, is the Ohio chapter of a network of non-profit, volunteer groups dedicated to organizing outdoor, active, recreational, social and environmental events for Jewish adults. Mosaic serves Jews of all ages, both married and single, who share a love for nature and the outdoors. Based in Cleveland, we have events throughout the Northeast Ohio area, including hiking, bicycling, canoeing, skiing, skating, camping, rock climbing, horseback riding, dinners and much, much more!!!
Mosaic Outdoor Club of Northeast Ohio membership is $25 per year. Non-members are welcome at most events, however we do charge a $5 non-member fee. You can pay any board member at your first event or contact us if you choose to send a membership check. The money paid to these fees help to offset the expenses the club incurs. These expenses include, but are not limited to, the money for this meet-up membership and any snacks or beverages the club may supply at get-togethers.

What’s different about this event?
ITS IN THE SUMMER. We typically only get to rent a camp after the season ends.
WE HAVE THE WHOLE CAMP TO OURSELVES.When: Friday August 21, 2026 to SUNDAY AUG 23, 2026. 2 nights.
We can arrive at camp as early as 11am on Friday and stay as late as after lunch on SUNDAY. So make plans to take Friday off work!!!
Accommodation: Cabins and cottage-style rooms. Pricing ranges from NEW LOWER PRICES $370 to $500 per person for the weekend including food!
Camp Gesher is located on Pringle Lake. It is in the Land O’Lakes cottage area and not far from Bon Echo Provincial Park. It is about a 3 ½ hour drive from Toronto and about 2 ½ hours from Ottawa.
There is a range of options for accommodations in the camp from 12 person cabins where we will only put a maximum of 4 people, to several cottage type rooms suitable for two people comfortable sharing a double-sized bed. You are also welcome to bring a tent for your accommodation if you prefer.The camp is kosher—all inputs are kosher and there are separate milk and meat dishes. However, there is only one dishwasher used which alternates between milk and meat dishes. There is no kosher supervision on site. Gesher can accommodate a range of dietary requests including gluten free, vegan and vegetarian.
Activities will include lots of lakeside lounging, swimming, canoeing**. In
August you can expect warm weather and warm water! Bon Echo Park with it’s petroglyphs and scenic Mazinaw lake are just up the road.** We will offer an opportunity for you to take canoeing lessons, included in the cost of the weekend. Want to learn the j-stroke? Want to learn the basics of soloing? This will be the weekend to enjoy that in addition to campfires, camaraderie, and family style meals.Accommodations for single person registration:
We have 4 possible accommodation choices for individuals. You will be asked if you want to room with specific people. We will do our best to meet your requests but we cannot fully guarantee this. All pricing for these options are per person.
Accommodations for couples or two people who want to share a double bed:
We have 6 options in total for "couples" or two people willing to share a double bed. All options are in vintage cabins on the property. Expect plywood walls, no insulation, like a typical vintage cottage rental. There is one washroom per cabin so you might be sharing that washroom with up to 6 others depending on the number of bedrooms in that cabin. All pricing for these options is per room.We need a minimum of 30 people signed up by July 30 at 9am to be able to run this event. We will cap attendance at 65 people. So register now and save your spot! You must be a 2026 Mosaic member to attend this event. IF WE MEET OUR 30 PERSON MINIMUM ON JULY 30, WE WILL OFFER THIS LATE REGISTRATION OFFER:
Late Registration (August 1-7, 2026):- Registration pricing during this period increases by a $50 late fee per person ($100 per room). Registration fully closes on August 7, 2026 at 6pm.
### Cancellation Policy (Please Read Carefully)
This policy is firm as we must commit and pay the camp a fixed fee for the use of the camp, staff, food purchase, and lifeguard.
- Full Refund: You will receive a full refund if Mosaic has to cancel the event. We will do this if we cannot make the 30 attendee minimum on July 31, 2026.
- Partial Refund: You will receive your money back less $100 if you cancel between registration and August 7, 2026
- Cancellations After August 7: No refunds.
