Cross Country Skiing or Snowshoeing (Hiking if no snow)

Join us for fun cross country skiing or showshoeing (or hiking if there is no snow). Chapin Forest metropark has well-groomed trails with hills for those with experience and a great practice area for novices. Whether you are experienced or a beginner doesn't matter. First-timers are always welcome.

Ski Rental at Pine Lodge (Chapin Forest Ski Lodge) is $5 per hour. Snowshoe rental is $3 per hour. Be prepared to leave a photo id at the rental desk as a "deposit".

After our activity, we will decide on a place to eat lunch. Everyone will be paying for his/her own lunch.

Please remember to dress appropriately for outdoor activity (hat, gloves, scarves, etc.). Also remember your water bottle since you can dehydrate when participating in outdoor activities even in winter.

As usual, non-paid MOSAIC members will be charged a $2 non-member fee.
