We will examine the plants and habitat of Tanner Springs Park at NW 10th & Marshall. Please bring the plant list from the link AND read the rest of the Friends website as well. Then we will head to a Streetcar stop or our bicycles for the ride to the PSU Campus. Regroup at SW 12th & Montgomery. We’ll go all the way to SW 4th Ave (with or without bikes) and identify plants and other aspects of the various stormwater facilities on campus—a number of which are NOT on the link above. We’ll probably go to the Duck House for dinner afterward.
Please indicate whether you are a dues-paying NPSO member when you sign up for this Meetup as priority on trips will be given to members. That said, I do encourage new people to sign up.
• What to bring
Water, well-equipped bicycle w/lights, helmet and lock, or money/pass for streetcar, optional money for dinner. A cell phone or other device to access the above links would be useful.
