What we’re about

The simple fact is that members of the AFAH community (*) tend not to have the same level of access and benefits that god-believers / religion-subscribers have when it comes to social networking, which from a religious standpoint of course traditionally comes in the form of churches.

Worse, AFAH people to this day are unfairly and routinely prejudged and distrusted by religion-subscribers, shunned and even discriminated against in places like public schools and workplaces, and even via unconstitutional--typically state and county--laws.

This group exists to provide a friendly, local (to North Richland Hills and surrounding) / in-my-neighborhood online social networking opportunity for AFAH people. With COVID-19 as bad as it is, on hold is large-scale, in-person events for the time-being.

That said and in the meantime, let us know if you have an interest in planning in-person meet-ups down the road. For now, let’s enjoy—in an online way—our local AFAH community!

* AFAH = Atheists, Freethinkers, Humanists and Agnostics (NOTE: Yes, I inadvertently transposed the last two words in the group title when I created it, as one of our guests pointed out to me. Oopsie! I might change the URL at some point...)
