What we're about

For comic book and graphic novel artists and writers who want to improve their craft, network with each other and possibly collaborate. There will be an emphasis on getting work done and published with members supporting each other and holding ourselves accountable to our goals. Monthly meetings and other events to be scheduled.

Guest speakers have included Heather Antos (Valiant), Fabrice Sapolsky (Humanoids), Robyn Chapman (First Second), Nicole Virella (Marvel), Jena Kane (Archie), Chris Sotomayor (Image), Kristen Gudsnuk (Dark Horse), Joe Roscetti (Nickelodeon) and many more!

We also have a workshop group that's about to publish our first anthology. Please contact us for more information on joining the anthology workshop.

X-Con @ Xavier High School

Xavier High School

Last October, we lost a good friend of the NY comic book scene. Renzo Ventrella was the organizer of X-con. Some of us are keeping his legacy alive by moving forward with this comic con at Xavier High School on May 11th. Tables are only $25 and all proceeds goes to his family. If you want to exhibit for yourself, you need to contact Steve at [masked] Our group will have our own table for members of the workshop. If you plan to attend, please specify in the comments if you will be helping out at the table. We will set-up at 11.
