My ny bus app will launch in feb and can be partially previewed (only 50 historic sites) at www.ny-bus.com. The apple based app will be expanded to include 185 historic sites off the m22 bus route. And will have complete schedule times for all of it's bus stop in both directions. I'm looking at a $1.99 price point. Feel free to call me at[masked] with questions

Hey everyone,

My name is Regina Walton.  I was at last night's meeting. I've been coming to the meetings since early autumn when I heard there was an issue getting transit data from the MTA.  Now that we've got it and people are working on apps, I'd like to help publicize it.

I write for The Next Web.  If you've not heard of them, just think of if as TechCrunch or Mashable for Europe.  (They've even got a conference which they've done for a few years.) Now they're branching out and have many tech channels.  I write primarily for the Asia channel, but the topic dictates where a blog post will go.

I spoke to Jehiah last night and he's already given me the link to the app that he's developing and the link to http://www.citygoround.org/, which is another site he helped develop.

Anyway, the goal is to get the news out that 1) the data is out (even though, yes, more would be better) and 2) which apps are ready or will be ready soon. Please note that if you're going to send me info regarding an app please give me a brief description and a link.  If there is no link, just hold until there is one and I'll write a follow-up to the first one at some point.

Thanks a lot!

Regina
