About the Topic
Ever trudged into Monday morning feeling like a fraud? Imposter syndrome -- that fear of being exposed as someone who doesn't know what they're doing -- can strike us all. In fact, product managers can be especially prone to it given that we're usually generalists in a world of specialists. But is it possible that being the "odd one out" can also be a position of strength? In this session, We'll talk about imposter syndrome: what causes it, how we deal with it, and how embracing our position of "generalist" can make us more valuable than the person in the room who's supposed to have all the answers.
