Throw on your sneakers and bring a mat on the trails to promote literacy in the city! The Sublime Climb for New Haven Reads is One World Wellness' next yoga fundraising event to bring people together for fun and fitness this fall season. On October 20 from 1 to 4 PM, guided hiking and yoga will take place with proceeds going toward the purchase of childrens' books for New Haven Reads! Offering a one-on-one literacy tutoring program, New Haven Reads shares the joy and power of reading with students ages 6-18. Choose easy to moderate activity for the first half of the morning by walking on paved roads with a short meditation and a light yin yoga practice. Then, during the later morning, guests may continue hiking to a spot for a vigourous Hatha yoga flow practice.
