Learn Linux - Samba file-server, Apache web-server, DigitalOcean Cloud

Details
In the last session we discussed history and basics of Linux. We created a server machine as well as a workstation machine and connected them both to the same network in VirtualBox. We configured hostnames and admin users, generated an SSH key on the workstation, and authorized it to login on the server.
In this next session the plan is to:
Create a Samba file server and an Apache web server on the server machine.
Create a server machine in DigitalOcean's cloud. You can use Willson's account or create your own, but the process will be very similar to using AWS or other cloud providers.
If we can get to it: Create DNS records in the sofree.us domain at Gandi!
Again, all of this Linux training is a lead-in to upcoming sessions on containers, Ansible, OpenStack, and AWS. If you missed the first class but feel you can catch up for this one, set up VirtualBox and a Linux server and workstation image (Centos7) and go through the session 1 steps I described above.
If you don't know what I'm talking about but would still like to attend, send me a message through meetup.com. We can set up times to get folks set up and up to speed for this class!
