Speaker Bios:
Doug Angove, Director, Corporate I.T., Sutter Health
Douglas S. Angove, Director, Enterprise Data Integration Services for Sutter Health, Inc., has enterprise wide responsibility for application data sharing and interoperability. Doug directs the integration of these systems with the Sutter Electric Health Record and manages a team responsible for ensuring these information systems support the strategic roadmap of the organization. Doug has over 30 years of experience in the engineering, finance and technology fields. Doug has been with Sutter Health over 10 years and spent 14 years with Kaiser Permanente Inc. in both regional and national arenas.
Doug has been very successful delivering corporate strategic and business plans, managing operations, process improvement and aligning business units with information services. He has implemented systems nationwide on time and under budget. He led a major ERP system implementation. He was instrumental in the replacement of all legacy business software, introduction of new mobile technology and process transformation.
Doug has an undergraduate degree in Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration. He is a member of HIMSS, CHIME, and PMI. He has presented at many user and industry conferences.
Eric Brown, CEO, California Telehealth Network
Eric is responsible for telehealth network development and deployment, cable and telecommunications marketing and operations executive. Classical marketing background in consumer marketing/brand management as well as media and communications and affiliate relations. Eric led the development of California's statewide telehealth network providing broadband connections and other health IT services to hospitals and clinics in rural and medically underserved communities. With over 750 sites the California Telehealth Network is the largest statewide FCC Rural Health Care Pilot Program funded telehealth network in the nation. Eric was appointed to the Universal Service Administrative Corporation Board of Directors in April 2013 as a rural healthcare representative.
Denise Pimintel, RN, MN, MS, CCRN, TeleICU Coordinator Dignity Health
Denise Pimintel is a RN Coordinator for the Dignity health Telemedicine Network for the Intensive Care and Outpatient clinic service lines. She has been with the DHTN for two years now and comes to us with 30 years of critical care experience and information technology implementation experience. She works with multiple hospitals for TeleICU and has multipleTele–specialty clinics. Her focus and goals are to drive care across the continuum to underserved medical specialty areas giving any customer the access to the best care.
Jennifer Stemmler, Director of Clinical Information Systems for Physician Experience at Adventist Health
Jennifer assumed her position in 2013. In this role, Jennifer oversees the application strategy, deployment and support of physician applications at the corporate level for Adventist Health acute and ambulatory providers including deployment of the EHR in newly acquired ambulatory clinic locations for both Cerner and Epic throughout the enterprise. Jennifer has sole responsibility for the Epic application platform in the Pacific Northwest region of Adventist Health, as well as implementation and support of Cerner Ambulatory throughout the health system. Previously, Jennifer held a position with Cedaron Medical Inc. and McKesson vendors as the Director of Implementation, Training and Support of the application deployment to health systems. There, Jennifer was responsible for large-scale implementations of the software with clients such as Memorial Herman, Brigham and Women’s, John Muir, and Catholic Health Systems, including implementation, training and support strategy. Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with dual concentration in Management of Information Systems and Human Resources from California State University, Sacramento. In addition, Jennifer is a member of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society. Jennifer and her husband, Rhett have four children, Tyler, Bethany, Zachary and Luke and reside in Rancho Murieta, CA.
