Hey Note Lovers, it's Carolyn here. Come join us for an unforgettable night under the Big Top with Cirque du Soleil’s spectacular show LUZIA!

This internationally acclaimed production blends breathtaking acrobatics, surreal visuals, and live music in a dreamlike journey inspired by the culture and landscapes of Mexico.
Expect jaw-dropping aerial feats, gravity-defying stunts, playful clowning, and one of Cirque’s most unique elements: acrobatic acts performed in falling rain on stage. The show’s title combines the Spanish words for light (“luz”) and rain (“lluvia”), two magical elements that transform the entire performance.

Cirque du Soleil shows are about 2–2½ hours with an intermission, and they’re famous for their immersive staging, costumes, and storytelling that make you feel like you’ve stepped into another world.

Pat Metheny is one of the most influential jazz guitarists of the last 50 years: lyrical, adventurous, harmonically rich, and instantly recognizable. He has won 20 Grammy Awards, and is known for contemporary jazz, jazz fusion, Latin jazz influences, and a sound that can be both beautifully melodic and rhythmically electrifying.

This concert is part of Metheny’s SIDE-EYE project, where he performs with a rotating group of excellent younger musicians, bringing fresh energy and new colours to his long musical history. Expect world-class guitar playing, gorgeous textures, modern jazz, and that unmistakable Pat Metheny sound.

Whether you already know his albums or are simply curious about hearing one of the great modern jazz musicians live, this should be a very special night. Pat Metheny’s music can be spacious and reflective one moment, then driving, complex, and full of motion the next. It is sophisticated music, but still very listenable and emotionally direct.

Joep Beving is often described as classical or neo-classical, but that doesn’t quite capture him. His piano music is spacious, meditative, cinematic, and deeply atmospheric — the kind of music that seems to breathe slowly and leave room for your own thoughts.
His new album, Liminal, released on Deutsche Grammophon, explores renewal, nature, intuition, and our relationship with the wider world. Pieces like “Elysium,” “When Humans Do Algorhythms,” and “Wild Renaissance” move between luminous, fantastical sound worlds and quiet, reflective contemplation.
This won’t be a loud or flashy night. Expect something beautiful, unusual, immersive, and slightly otherworldly — a concert for people who love piano, atmosphere, and modern classical music.
