About us
Null Space Labs is a hackerspace in the Los Angeles area. We focus on hands-on learning and hacking of electronics, hardware and software development, computer security, lock picking, and more! Members have access to an extensive hardware lab, a tool room, electronics galore, a laser cutter, Haas CNC mill, a vinyl cutter, and much more for all of your hacking needs.
Tuesday nights are public open nights, but we're usually around most other week days after 7PM. Almost every Saturday afternoon we have a class of various aspects of security and technology, see more on the full class list.

NSL Lockpicking - The Key to Keys!
Null Space Labs, 2522 North Ontario Street, Burbank, ca, USThis month's topic is KEYS! Normally we focus on everything *but* keys, but this month we're going to learn about keys in depth to help get a better understanding of key security, key control, and features of medium and high security keys! We will have locks and loaner picks to practice, along with experienced pickers and training aids to help beginners learn.
Doors open at 7:00 PM! Talk starts at 7:30 PM.

Intro to Python Programming
Abstract: Learn the basics of Python programming in this beginner focused class! We'll cover what programming is, how it works, and how we can use it to solve problems and make cool things. Programming is an exceptionally useful skill for a wide variety of technical jobs and hobby projects. Stop doing everything manually, learn how to program it!
What will you learn:
- Python 3 programming

- Basic I/O

- Functions and libraries
What to Bring:
- A working laptop that you know how to use and have admin privileges on.
- Install Python 3.1x on your system https://www.python.org/
- Verify that you can get into the Python interpreter and / or run scripts on the command line (type python or python3 in a terminal)
