Presented by Janice Bell Ph.DJanice Bell had 2 careers before she became a full time real estate investor. As a Marine Biologist with a Ph.D, and she worked at 4 biotech companies designing diagnostic tests.
She took a painful hit after the dot com bubble of 2000. Her stock investments took a dive as well as the venture capital group that funded where she worked. In 2003 with her stock investments and job gone, she reflected on her technical expertise and sought control of her financial future.
Janice decided to study for her 3rd career, using every real estate book at Barnes and Noble combined with numerous boot camps and seminars. Janice bought her first “deal” in Michigan sight unseen as a wholesale assignment from a San Diego investor. From then on she parlayed techniques of REO purchasing, rehabbing, wholesaling, private lending, and 1031 exchanges into 17 properties including 3 apartment buildings.
The Great Recession took a bite out of her holdings. To counteracted that, she increasing her flipping business and individually coached over 250 students.
Janice trains and coaches people to have the time and money freedom to live in their life’s purpose by investing in real estate. She also hosts a Real estate club in North County SD. She raises capital and syndicates deals for Land Development and Apartment Construction.
She is living her life’s dream by creating a non-profit focused on Ocean Conservation and Education. She is dedicated to bringing you the best RE education so you can make the right decisions for your financial future.
