Audubon Holiday Bird Count
Would you like to help us count birds? Whether you know what you're doing or just have enthusiasm and like to point them out, your help is needed this Sunday at Alum Rock park and Sierra Vista Open Space Preserve. Come dressed for rain or shine, bring binoculars if you have them and your sense of adventure and help us spot and take a tally of all the birds we see. We'll drive up to Sierra Vista so the walk is all downhill back to Alum Rock Park.

    What we're about

I decided to start this group because we have some really awesome and fun hiking trails in our area. And also, some of these agencies have docents that really rock. The Open Space Authority docents are friendly, engaging and won't make you cry hiking up the hill (unless you like killer hikes and then they have some crazy intense hikers, too). This group is for anyone who likes to go hiking, or for walks and would like people to go with. If you like walking with other people, if you are shy, friendly, outgoing, or just love being outdoors, this is a chance to hang out with some fun people.

I work for the Open Space Authority and we preserve land for wildlife and people alike. If you want to know more, please check out the web site at www.openspaceauthority.org. This meetup is not actually sponsored by Open Space Authority but will include all kinds of info on their latest hikes since I am in the know. I want you to be in the know too! (smile)
