December Mini-Talks & Pizza at Big Fish Games!
Details
Big Fish Games has been gracious enough to host yet another meetup in their space! Join us for an evening of game development tech talks, FREE pizza, and networking with other local creatives and builders.
---
Here are the speakers you'll hear from:
Mason Young is a member of indie studio MetaHobby, who developed HexCross for Android & iOS. In his talk, "One Hour Game Jam, or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love Game Dev," Mason will share his experience with making small games in just one hour, once a week.
Yasu Flores is an indie studio owner and developer of Polar Jump. In his talk, Yasu will share lessons learned from his first indie title, with an emphasis on working on what you're good at. He'll also be sharing a brief preview of his next game!
Don Bellenger is an independent game developer who recently released Black Future '88 on Steam and Nintendo Switch. In his talk, "Things I learned making Black Future '88," he'll share lessons learned from starting, pitching, making, and shipping an indie game in 2019.

Schedule:
6:15 pm - 7 pm: FREE Pizza & Soft Drinks Provided
7 pm - 8 pm: Presentations
8 pm - 8:30 pm: Networking
Keep in mind that volunteers from the company will be staying late to help facilitate the event. Please be respectful of their time by clearing out at 8:30!

Street parking is sometimes available in the area but I strongly suggest taking public transit. 19th St Bart is a short walk away!
When you arrive at the lobby, just say you're here for the meetup and a Big Fish employee will show you upstairs.
Excited to see you all again!
