Come enjoy an morning of laughter and friendly times as we do our best doing Pickleball. If your a beginner there are people to help you with the game of fun. When playing Pickleball, each player will need a Pickleball paddle, which is smaller than a tennis racquet but larger than a ping-pong paddle. Originally, paddles were made only from wood, however, today’s paddles have evolved dramatically and are primarily made of lightweight composite materials, including aluminum and graphite. Players wear just about anything comfortable and appropriate for the climate: athletic shorts, sweatpants, wicking apparel, t-shirts, etc. Tennis-style dresses and skirts for females are common. Comfortable court shoes are a must; sneakers or running shoes do not supply the right kind of support for the side-to-side action inherent in Pickleball. Eye protection is highly recommended. As for accessories, players may wear hats, visors, sweatbands and light jackets or sweatshirts for cold outdoor play. By attending you accept that there are inherent risks in playing Pickleball outdoors and accept personal liability for any injury that may happen. The cost of the Pickleball Event is free at The Parkinson Recreation Centre. If you haven't played pickleball before we will help you on the courts. But it is a good idea in the future to take a few lessons on the game. Please note that this event is "RAIN" dependent. The court surface could hazardous on the court which will result in a cancellation. My number is[masked] for more information. So play SAFE and have FUN!!

We get to the top, ring the bell, take a picture (usually) to prove people are silly enough to do this and then head down the back way. We then continued past the ranger cabin and down the backside OgoPogo trail and steps and then on Paul's Tomb trail and down APEX and back to the cars.
