OlyMEGA (Olympia Makers, Engineers, Geeks and Artists) is a nonprofit (501c3) Makerspace located in Olympia, WA. We are dedicated to fostering creativity, collaboration, and education.
The mission of OlyMEGA is to create an open maker community in the Olympia/Thurston County.
Members are encouraged to share their knowledge, learn from others, and create from what they learn.

We have a shared workshop called a Makerspace at the rear of 312 4th Avenue E., Olympia, WA. We have a weekly Open House on Thursday Night starting at 7PM.

I will bring a selection of 3 or more games to choose from. If you have a favorite, please bring it to play and share. If you want, we may stay later than 9:30 pm. Donation or OlyMEGA membership appreciated.

Free time to work on individual projects. A key holder member will open the space and you are welcome to work independently while they are there.

Are you interested in laser cutting, but don't know how to get started? The OlyMEGA Makerspace is hosting a class on laser cutting using our 90-watt CO2 laser!
We will cover how to prepare files for laser cutting plastic and wood, using the latest laser software, and operating the laser.
This is a hands-on class, materials will be provided, and attendees will get to keep what they create on the laser cutter. Make something for a loved one!
There will be limited slots for this class, as there is only one laser for everyone to share.
Class is 30$ for non-members, and free for Maker-level supporters on our Patreon. (patreon.com/olymega)
OlyMEGA is an educational non-profit. Proceeds from the class will go toward supporting our makerspace and maintaining and upgrading our laser.
