Fusion 360 is a powerful 3d modeling program by the makers of Autodesk that is free to use. We are a group of Fusion360 users at various skill levels, and we meet every two weeks to help each other with our Fusion360 projects.

Whether you are a seasoned 3d Modeler or are brand new and looking for a jumping-on point, this is the place for you!

We cover basic modeling as well as advanced techniques, and have the capabilities to create the things you model here at the space on our 3d printers, CNC, and laser cutter.

We are back to hosting Open House Weekly.

• What to bring
Any project you want to share, yourself, your friends, questions about the group or your projects.

• Important to know
The door is on the back side of the building which faces State Ave NE with a space mural on it.

I will bring a selection of 3 or more games to choose from. If you have a favorite, please bring it to play and share. If you want, we may stay later than 9:30 pm. Donation or OlyMEGA membership appreciated.

You have the chance to select the ornaments and copy them to the laser cutting and cut them out yourself. Some can be personalized with your name or a greeting.

Free time to work on individual projects. A key holder member will open the space and you are welcome to work independently while they are there.

Open time for members to come use the space for projects or hanging out.

We are members of OlyMega, (Olympia Makers, Engineers, Geeks, and Artists) who meet every other week to build things and further our electronics and programing skills. Our Wednesday meetup started out as a dedicated Arduino Meetup, but we have decided to expand our purview to include more electronics, radio, networking, and programming.

Some of the disciplines we work in are:

• Electronics repair and re-use
• Circuit design + fabrication
• Radio communication and mesh networking
• Robotics and Mechatronics
• Sensors and Automation

Of course, our main focus will always be on Making Things. If you are interested in learning something new, or just looking for a place to work with other people whose interests intersect with yours, come see us at OlyMega!

We are members of OlyMega, (Olympia Makers, Engineers, Geeks, and Artists) who meet every fourth Friday to create things out of fabric, thread, yarn or other craft materials. Have a project you want to finish? Bring it along and socialize as you work on it. Want to learn how to use a sewing machine? Come learn on ours.

We have a few sewing machines and will soon have a serger to learn on. We will have available second-hand sourced fabric pieces that are good for small projects and practicing new skills. Embroidery floss will be available as well as small embroidery hoops and needles for on-site use or can be purchased at cost.

Darning
Embroidery: machine and hand
Learning small clothing repairs: buttons, patches, gussets
Identifying fabric fiber content
Laser cutting
Inkscape for preparing pictures for laser cutting and etching
