What we're about

Open Door Outreach is a terrific group for volunteerism, community involvement, and friendship! ODO is secular, nonpolitical, and open to everyone. There are no membership fees and no charges to attend any meetups; any donations are entirely optional. On the first Monday of each month, we meet to plan and learn about volunteer and community activities --and we also enjoy great people and great conversation! However, attending the monthly meetings is not required, we have numerous get togethers each month for participating in various types of volunteer, community, and fun social activities. So... this is a great Meetup spot for anyone who enjoys fun, friendship, and helping the community. :)

Volunteers should dress for the weather—expecting heat. Wear a hat and sunscreen, close-toed shoes and insect repellent. Bring your own yard gloves. All volunteers will be required to wear a face covering during check-in and transportation to the field (hay ride style). Once we are spread out on the acreage, masks may be removed. A water and snack station will be set up on each acre, and masks will be required in that area. Volunteers should be able to lift 30 pounds, stand for two hours, and walk across an acre of farm land. We will not have access to the clubhouse, but will have a porta-potty on site if needed. This event will be held regardless of weather. Lightning or heavy rain may cause a delay. NOT Watermelon Crawl check-in location is: Stonelinks Country Club Clubhouse 12601 Faulkner Lake Rd North Little Rock, AR. 72117 It takes a short 15 minutes to get to the site from downtown Little Rock.
