February Meetup

Welcome to our first meetup of 2017! There will be two talks this meetup:

Daniel Moore "ETL using MapReduce in Java"

This talk will touch on Hadoop, HBase and real world MapReduce code that moves 300TB of data so it can be used by a web application.

Matt Burgess "Wicked Cool Apache Java projects and So Can You!"

This talk will cover the Apache Software Foundation, as well as some Java-based Apache projects, as well as open-source in general, and how to get involved with Apache projects.
