September is Read a New Book month! Have a stack of books your kiddo has grown out of? Or some they just aren't interested in? Bring them to our book exchange. You will get rid of the books that don't work for your family and come home with some new ones.
Specifics: Everyone will bring 3 books (per kiddo) they would like to contribute. We will group/display them by category. Then we are going to do 3 rounds of shopping. This will make everything fair. So everyone gets to pick their first book before anyone can pick their second book. And everyone will pick their second book before anyone can choose their third book. Hopefully, everyone will be going home with 3 new books. If there are any books left over at the end, I will take them to be donated. I will be bringing extra books as well to add to the swap.

If you want to check out Stroller Barre it starts at 9:30 and is free for first-time attendees. Stroller Barre is a 60-minute cardio and strength interval class designed to improve posture, stability, and mobility. The workout combines moves inspired by barre, ballet, Pilates, and yoga to help you regain your posture and alignment and strengthen your body from the inside out! You will need a stroller, water, yoga mat (if you have one), and entertainment for your kiddos (ex: snacks, books, toys, etc). All children are required to remain in the stroller (and/or in a carrier) for the duration of the class.
Sunday is National Chocolate Milk Day. We couldn't let the day slip by, so we are going to celebrate a day early. We will provide chocolate milk after Stroller Strides. We want you to take your best "chocolate milk mustache" selfie and tag us on social media! @fit4mom.dentoncounty
