We meet once a month or so to enjoy an 8-10km bushwalk , visiting some of Victoria's stunning National and State Parks. Afterwards ,we retreat to a local pub for a parmy and pint . Open to all keen social bushwalkers. Ideal age group 40+
Our events tend to fill quickly. Its worth waitlisting , it nearly always clears before the event.

### British Columbia Hiking Adventure — Quick Itinerary
Day 1–2: Vancouver
Arrive in Vancouver, explore the city, and enjoy a Welcome Dinner.
Day 3: Stawamish Chief
Hike the Stawamus Chief for sweeping Howe Sound views.
Day 4–5: Elfin Lakes & The Gargoyles
Begin the backcountry section with two nights camping at Elfin Lakes and a dramatic hike to The Gargoyles.
Day 6–7: Pemberton / Optional Rainbow Lake
Return to the trailhead and transfer to Pemberton; free day or optional Rainbow Lake hike.
Day 8: Joffre Lakes
Hike and camp beside the iconic turquoise Upper Joffre Lake.
Day 9: Return to Squamish
Relax in Squamish after descending from Joffre Lakes.
Day 10–11: Helm Creek & Panorama Ridge
Enter Garibaldi’s alpine core. Camp at Helm Creek and hike the spectacular Panorama Ridge.
Day 12: Farewell Night
Celebrate your final night at Georgian Manor with a Farewell Dinner.
Day 13: Departure
Transfer to Vancouver Airport for your journey home.

You would need bring your own camping gear or you cant rent on arrival in Vancouver- a pack, tent and poles.
The trip involves pack hiking for several days so a level of fitness is required

Domino Rail Trail from Trentham to Lyonville return
Historic Trentham Railway Station, The Domino Trail, Trentham, AUAn early start for this 12km up and back hike on an old rail line which follows a direct route from Historic Trentham station, cutting through the Wombat Forest to Lyonville and return . It is a reasonably flat walk.
MEETING PLACE : The Historic Trentham Train station 8.30 am for 8.45am start . Entrance to car park is near corner of Market St & Victoria st

This historic public hall hosts the Café de Lyonville, a community-run initiative that operates fortnightly and operated entirely by volunteers and the hall committee, all proceeds go directly toward maintaining the building.We then return to Trentham and have a browse through some of lovely gift shops/ boutiques before heading accross to Lunch at Hotel Trentham (Owned and operated by legendary Australian and NBA basketballer Chris Anstey)

Join us for a spectacular winter adventure on Australia’s third-largest island. Recently voted the 2nd best destination to visit by Lonely Planet, Kangaroo Island is a pristine sanctuary of dramatic clifftops, ancient rock formations, and abundant wildlife.
This trip combines two days of sightseeing with a five-day, 66km (up to 71km) guided wilderness trek, featuring the iconic Remarkable Rocks and Admirals Arch.
The KI Experience

Witness sea lions at Seal Bay, koalas in the wild, and the majestic Southern Right and Humpback whales during their peak migration.Taste of the Island:
Sample world-famous Ligurian honey, fresh oysters, and local wines, with visits to the Lavender Farm and island breweries and wineries.Winter Beauty:
Experience "Green Season" where the landscapes are lush, waterfalls are flowing, and the coastal swells are at their most dramatic.
Hike Itinerary
We spend the first two days (July 18–19) exploring the island’s highlights before beginning our 5-day trek on Monday, July 20.
Day 1: 18km – Coastal vistas and clifftops.
Day 2: 14km – Remote wilderness trails.
Day 3: 13km – Rugged terrain and sweeping views.
Day 4: 13.5km – Wildlife corridors and native bush.
Day 5: 7.5km – A shorter finish to celebrate our journey.Total Elevation: 1,458m. The trail undulates between sea level and high clifftops; a good level of fitness is required.
The Logistics Advantage:
We have daily bus transfers. This gives us the flexibility to swap sections if the Southern Ocean winds are too high on the clifftops, ensuring we always hike in the safest conditions.
Accommodation & Facilities
We will stay in Twin-Share Cabins, each featuring two separate bedrooms, an ensuite, and a kitchen.
On-site:
A massive indoor camp kitchen (fully equipped with fridges, pots, and pans) and a general store for food, drinks, and barista coffee.Logistics & Transport
Getting There: We will carpool from Melbourne on July 16th, staying one or two nights (e.g., Robe) on the way to the Cape Jervis ferry. Petrol and transit Airbnb costs will be shared by passengers.
