Wild Dog Loop (Thurman Bridge Closed!)

UPDATE: Thurman bridge is closed for reconstruction! Here is the detour route for getting to the trailhead:

Note that this one is on a Tuesday! Also, I may not make this one, as I can't run for a few weeks (at least) due to a sprained ankle. But I wanted to schedule the meetup still for those looking for a mid-week run.

Let's meet at the start of Leif Erikson where Thurman dead-ends (up the road just a bit from the Lower Macleay where we meet on Saturdays). Parking can be a little spotty at the end of Thurman, so keep that in mind as you go up the hill.

Here's the loop I'm thinking of (starting from Leif Erikson):

Left onto Alder
Left onto Wildwood
Right onto Dogwood
Left onto Wild Cherry (keep left when you see the sign for Keil trail, very shortly after that is a sharp left and descent to get onto Wild Cherry)

Wild Cherry crosses Wildwood and ends back at Leif Erikson where we'll go right to get back to the start. The route ends up being little less than 5 miles total, with some decent elevation gain - but not as crazy as our Pittock run :)
