Paddling LA and OC

Grab your board and meet us at Newport Aquatic Center. We are celebrating Cinco de mayo! Consider wearing colorful colors, or maybe a sombrero!

You’re not an expert? That's fine because all skill levels are welcome. 👍

What you’ll need:

• A paddle board (or kayak)
• A paddle (don’t forget this)
• Life vest/belt and a leash
• Money if you want to join us for lunch after (place to be announced) 😊

Paddle Route:
We'll be starting at the Newport Aquatic Center/North Star Beach and paddlimg through the backbay area and looping back to where we started. (approx. 3 miles)

Timeline:

• Arrive by 9:00 am
• Underway by 09:30 am
• Back by 12:00pm-12:30pm
  (All times are approximate - if you are going to be late just check the app as i will post where we are going! Also feel free to text me!)

Parking:
Plenty of free parking should be available as long as you park on the dirt side of the lot.

Calling all paddle enthusiasts and/or sunset chasers. 🌅

Grab your board or kayak and meet us at Alamitos Bay in Long Beach. All skill levels are welcome, and you must be comfortable paddling when it starts to get dark.

What you’ll need:

• A paddleboard or kayak
• A paddle (don’t forget this)
• A battery-operated light 💡🔦 so you can be seen by boats and others when it starts to get dark.
• Life vest/belt and a leash

Paddle Route:

• We will begin at the bay, paddle through the canals and around Naples Island, then return to our starting point. Approximately 3 miles.

Timeline:

• On the sand, ready to go at 6:00pm
• Back by 8:00-8:30
• TBD - We may go somewhere for food/drinks after for whoever is interested.

Need to rent a board? Unfortunately, the rental facility is closed at our designated meet time. If you need to rent a board, our Saturday events would be best to join as the rental facility can accommodate at this time.
