This is a traditional Kung Fu workout, open to people of all skill levels, ages 18 and above. Come enjoy a fun, friendly atmosphere where you will get fit, learn kung fu and self-defense, and make new friends with cool people. We meet on Monday and Thursday, from 7 to about 8:30 at Reach Fitness in downtown Palo Alto. The course is split into three segments - calisthenics and strength training, self defense, and forms, with lots of partnered exercises. It’s a very friendly environment, with people of mostly beginner skill levels - anyone of any skill level is highly welcome to join. We practice three styles: Our main style is called My Jong Law Horn, in addition to Tai Chi Praying Mantis, as well as the Tao Ga system. What you'll need: All you’ll need to bring is some loose fitting clothing for working out in, and a bottle of water. About the Instructor: Sifu Don Dini started training in Kung Fu twelve years ago while in Los Angeles from his teacher, Master Raymond Wong. While there he learned the My Jong Law Horn, Tai Chi Praying Mantis, and Tao Ga systems. In addition, he spent several years training in kickboxing and boxing.
