For our next book, Papers We Love Columbus is starting to read the Site Reliability Engineering book. Each chapter is written and edited by different authors at Google, and the book as a whole examines how Google is able to to build, deploy, monitor, and maintain some of the largest software systems in the world.
You can read the book online for free or order a dead-tree version here: https://landing.google.com/sre/books/
For the 18 July meeting, we'll read Part IV and the conclusion (chapters 28-34). As always, reading the book ahead of the meeting is recommended but not required.
We will also discuss what our next paper or book should be.
