Today's applied topic is literally chocolate on the ice cream. To commemorate our meetup's second anniversary at the Algolia building, we'll have an ice cream social. Let's relax and chat. What have we learned? What are our aspirations? What technologies and gadgets are we personally looking forward to? This is the opportunity to interact and ask those questions which we never had an opportunity to discuss.

I'll bring ice cream, chocolate topping, bowls and spoons.

Abstract: An ice cream social (also known as an ice cream party) is a planned event the primary focus of which is ice cream served to the guests. It is often a neighborhood event or welcoming party, normally held during the summer.

Tuesdays are applied machine learning day. We have a peer-to-peer discussion with a focus on an applied machine learning topic. We also meet on Fridays when we discuss a predetermined research paper.

Bring lunch and, if you wish, a research paper, some questions, a demo, a problem, or just come to hang out.
