Games at the Nut House

Details
Every Saturday.
Please kindly remember to un-RSVP if you realize you won't be going.
FAQ
"What games do you play?"
Any tabletop game is welcome. A few examples include Resistance, Settlers of Catan, King of Tokyo, Coup, Bang, and Power Grid. The term "board games" is not meant to exclude card games or other tabletop games.
"I'm a total newbie to board games. Can I come?"
Absolutely. There is no expectation of skill level or experience. Usually a game's rules are explained prior to play. If you do not feel comfortable at an event, please let me know.
"Can I grab someone else's game that's sitting around?"
Usually yes, but you might want to check whose game it is and make sure with them first, and of course put the game back after you are done.
"Can I show up late?"
Yes, some members don't show up until a bit later in the evening. Our peak time is probably 7pm-8pm. But showing up earlier can make it a little easier to get in on a game.
"How many people usually show up?"
It varies quite a bit, but 35 seems like a typical number. I'd estimate that about 75% of those RSVP'ed to an event end up coming.
"Is it ok to come if I didn't RSVP?"
RSVPs are appreciated; but no one will be booting you out if you forgot.
In general, please let me know if you have ideas, concerns, or other thoughts to share.
About the Venue
Antonio's serves alcohol and there is a restaurant inside that serves food. The area immediately near the bar and the area in the back (with the pool tables) belong to the bar. The areas near the restaurant belong to the restaurant (apparently). Please support the corresponding venue by ordering something to drink or eat, so that we will continue to be welcome here. There is a large parking lot right next to the venue, and there is also a CalTrain station nearby.
