Peninsula Jammers: Pop Sessions #1
X.M.E.S. Rehearsals, 3549 Haven Ave., Menlo Park, CA, USWe had such a great time in October we are setting up another jam for November. Saturday November 22nd, 7-10 PM at XMES rehearsal studios.
This time we will focus on some pop songs.
You can see some of the songs we are thinking of here as a YouTube playlist - songs like:
- Here It Goes Again - OK Go
- Flagpole Sitta - Harvey Danger (with a personal story of how I was friends with this band in Seattle)
- Lump - The Presidents
- Baby Blue - Badfinger (the closing song to the Breaking Bad TV series)
Stuff like that, plus we'll bring back some of the songs that went over so well last time (I Need to Know by Tom Petty stood out for sure).
