DESCRIPTION
Ever wonder what makes some employees more resilient than others? It's more likely than not that those with high levels of resiliency were raised in chaos. After 20 years in HR and walking my own healing journey as a parentified child, Dawn began writing her book on how these childhood experiences influence how we show up in the workplace.Childhood trauma influences how we view authority, autonomy, gossip, drive, attention to detail, emotional regulation, stress, trust, communication styles, risk aversion, and more.
Join us to learn more about how these childhood experiences influence your workplace. If you think trauma clocks out when you clock in, you are sadly mistaken.

Understand how AI is reshaping work tasks and team dynamics, and how to thrive in human-AI collaboration.
In this series, brought to you by Bring Your Brilliance, we’re diving into the conversations that are at the heart of the human experience in the modern workplace: How do we lead career & workforce happiness in the age of AI?
SPEAKER BIO
Carla Taylor, MA, CPC, is the author of Career Happiness in the Age of AI — a groundbreaking new textbook and movement that bridges career development, leadership, and human potential in the era of artificial intelligence.
Carla is a 30-year learning and development leader, career & workforce strategist, and founder of Bring Your Brilliance. She’s worked with major organizations like Eli Lilly, John Deere, Adidas, Rolls Royce, and Ascension Health — and has helped thousands of people align their strengths, purpose, and energy to thrive at work. She is the author of The Career Happiness Project”, and co-author of the upcoming “Career Happiness In The Age of AI”.
Her message is both practical and deeply human: that career happiness isn’t about chasing titles or keeping up with technology — it’s about knowing who you are, what energizes you and lights you up, and how to work in harmony with AI, not against it.
So, whether you’re a leader or career coach helping others find direction and align with their most meaningful work, or a career seeker ready for your next chapter, this workshop series will help you reimagine what’s possible in your work and your life.
