The Great Careers Groups (GCG) provides up to 600 online career education and networking events per year for career transition and career management.
As a 501(c)3 volunteer-run nonprofit, the mission is to be a lifelong educational resource for professionals who aspire to have successful careers and leave a positive impact on the world.
Although we are a meetup group, the registration info for Zoom for our events or links to affiliate events are on our website events page and social media is on our contact info page https://greatcareers.org.

Are you an immigrant professional looking for your first job or wanting to develop your career? Join the host, David Wragg, Career Coach, online for a 90-minute Zoom meeting of career advice and support for immigrant professionals.
In this meeting, Erlinda Pysqyli will present and share her experience and stories about coming to the US from Albania, returning to university, and then landing a job as a recruiter. You’ll learn about her approach to job search and she will share what she has learned as a recruiter.
You will also hear from other professionals and others like you who are at different career stages and have networking opportunities.

Whether it is a personal goal, a business result, or a strategic plan, we need to understand where we’re starting from, develop a vision of what success will look like, and have the willingness to make the journey.
David has over thirty years of experience as a human resources leader in global IT companies, business process outsourcing, and a nonprofit health agency. Leveraging his experience of working with people, he helps organizations by providing consulting and leadership coaching. His passion is career coaching through Insight Career Coaching, volunteering, and now running the Career Support for Professional Immigrants group.

Host BIO:
Paul Cecala, a Five O’Clock Club Certified Career Coach, has been coaching since 1999 and assisted over 3000 people in either changing careers or starting their professional lives. He has worked for several post-secondary career schools as Director of Career Services specializing in Biotech/pharmaceutical careers, Green Economy jobs, aviation, allied health, IT and general administrative professions. He has also worked as a program manager for lifelong learning and workforce development training at Fairleigh Dickinson University and County College of Morris. Additionally, he helped develop the job search training process for several NJ Department of Labor-sponsored job search groups.
As a student of the job search process, he finds particular interest in project planning a job search, networking, and securing offers from the interview. Paul has presented over 600 seminars on topics ranging from career pathing to interview follow-up for organizations including schools like Lincoln Technical Schools, Centenary College, Florida Institute of Technology, University of Connecticut, and Embry Riddle Aeronautical University; networking and job search groups like the Professional Services Group and Princeton Job Seekers; and social clubs like Montclair Divorce Support Group and Out Professionals of NYC.
Paul has a BS in Psychology from the Florida Institute of Technology. Prior to career coaching, he had a long career in corporate aviation sales. His final position in this arena was Vice President of Aircraft Charter Sales for a nationwide industry leader.
