The Great Careers Groups provides online career education and networking on Zoom and Clubhouse. We serve the unemployed, underemployed, self-employed, and employed, as well as the organizations (businesses and nonprofits) that employ them. We also support veterans.

It's free to be a Meetup member to get notified of our events, but you must register for events on our website to get Zoom and affiliate links at https://greatcareers.org/events Meetup is only for advertising our events.

Lynne M. Williams, Ed.D. Candidate, is the Executive Director of the Great Careers Group & BENG a volunteer-run 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides career education and networking connections for 1) job seekers in career transition, including veterans and 2) employed and self-employed for career management. She is also the President of ChemPharma.net, a professional association.

In addition, Lynne writes resumes and LinkedIn profiles and presents unique research-based workshops on LinkedIn, resumes, the Applicant Tracking System, the Art of Networking In-Person & Online, and other career-related, social media, and technology topics. She is currently working on writing her doctoral dissertation on LinkedIn for Job Seekers and is a contributing author to Find Your Fit: A Practical Guide to Landing the Job You Love along with the late Dick Bolles, the author of What Color is Your Parachute?.

She writes a weekly career column in Vista.Today Montco.Today Delco.Today Bucksco.Today and other publications with LinkedIn tips and more. Read the SCORE Success Story! The 501(c)3 nonprofit was listed as #1 on the Philadelphia Business Journal’s Business Networking Associations in Dec 2020.

LynnEskite-Tant, MS, MSW, LCSW-C
Lynn Eskite-Tant holds a Master of Science in Human Resource Management and a Master of Social Work (both from the University of Maryland) and is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW-C) in Maryland. While pursuing her MSW, Lynn’s clinical sub-specialty was Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs). Her social work experience includes college mental health counseling, inpatient social work, and private practice psychotherapy.
Prior to becoming a counselor, Lynn worked for over ten years as a technical recruiter at a staffing agency and sees your search through the lens of Human Resources & staffing professionals. She understands what it’s like on the inside, sorting through hundreds of resumes, cover letters, and profiles to find the right candidate & can help you stand out from the crowd! She knows the value of LinkedIn & how it can be used to your advantage. As a certified job coach & mental health counselor, Lynn appreciates how overwhelming the job search can be & provide guidance, support &encouragement through the process.

Lynn works as an EAP consultant providing health &wellness webinars to large organizations. She also volunteers as a career coach for Baltimore Job Hunters Support Group, a Baltimore-based non-profit, where she provides workshops to support programming for their clients.

Participating in our 30-minute weekly skill-building training enables attendees to improve upon the power we have to meet and exceed personal and professional goals.

Specifically, attendees will learn to harness the power of our ongoing automatic thoughts, which are driven by deep-seated beliefs and can lead to actions that are counterproductive to desired personal and professional outcomes.

This training will focus on the identification of seven inner strengths of resilience, as well as the development of 7 critical resilience skills. It's called "PowerThinking: Rejuvenating Your Amazing Mind!"

Each week, attendees will receive a text message on Tuesday containing content or an exercise that will be discussed on the Wednesday training calls. Attendees will also receive a text reminder on the day of the call.
