Multi-processing, GUIs and Synchronizing music equipment (Online Event)
The session will review a project that synchronizes music equipment. The need for high accuracy and low jitter required the use of multi-processing to meet the objectives.
Musical equipment can be synchronized with a signal (Midi Clock). The clock requires a high level of accuracy, and low Jitter.
Elliot will review the all the timers available in python and share how he evaluated them.
The basics of multi-processing in python and lessons learned when multi-processing with a GUI will be shared.
